Singing Circle

Singing is one of the most powerful, enjoyable and accessible ways of improving your mental and physical health. Current scientific research counts the following as some of the benefits from singing. It reduces stress and anxiety, boosts mood and the immune system, improves self-confidence, simply by using our own instrument.

The singing circle is not a formal choir, there is no requirement to 'perform' and the music is absorbed by ear. Learn about your own extraordinary instrument through breathwork exercises and wonderful songs from the sublime to the ridiculous.

The aim is to bring people together; regular singers, can't sing-won't sing singers and only in the shower singers! All are welcome. It might be of interest to visit the late and wonderful Dr. Michael Moseley's BBC podcast on Singing from his 'Just One Thing' series.

"if you can talk, you can sing"

The singing circle is on hold at present but please do contact Lindsay if you are interested.
